In 2022 the Teddy Franke of Mission Farrier School was approved as a TIP certified mustang trainer through the Mustang Heritage Foundation. Mission has always been known for its emphasis on teaching meaningful horsemanship. This adds another dimension as students get the chance to get their hands on Oregon BLM mustangs under Teddy's careful supervision. "There is so much these horses can teach us explains Teddy, not only from the perspective of horsemanship, but also from seeing feet that for better or worse have very little human influence."
